Expert Lecture on “High Voltage Equipments and Technologies”
The IEEE PES NHCE Student Branch Chapter of Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, New Horizon College of Engineering, Bengaluru had organized the Expert Lecture on “High Voltage Equipments and Technologies” on 4th October 2023, Wednesday, during 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Falconry seminar hall, NHCE Bengaluru. The objective of the programme was to make the students understand the recent trends and technologies on high voltage. The resource person was Dr. Zarir H Sholapurwala. He is the managing director of Zeonics system Pvt. Ltd. He explained the students about the pulse modulators, pulse resistors, impulse generators, high voltage trigger generator, high voltage high power resistors, high voltage nanosecond high repetition rate generator etc. He also talked about the applications of such devices which are used in the defence sector. He concluded the talk with the Question and answer session.
