The Department of EEE conducted an Alumni Talk called “Introduction to VLSI and its various Industrial Domains” by Mr. Amogh Naragund on 30th November 2023 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm for students of our department. Amogh Naragund works as a physical design engineer in the Mediatek industry. He discussed about his academic days and about VLSI. He talked about developing industry in the semiconductor domain. He spoke with the students about the demands and expectations of the VLSI and their emerging market in the industry. He talked about the process of getting into the core domain and how to enhance skills in order to get into the vlsi. The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering planned this very educational and engaging seminar for the students under the guidance of Dr Sakthivel Aruchamy, HOD of EEE and Dr GUNAPRIYA.
