CLUB ACTIVITIES

The Quiz Competition was conducted from 22nd to 24th April by the Green Energy Club under the aegis of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering to assess and enhance students’ knowledge of sustainability, renewable energy, and climate action. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various departments. The quiz was organised in multiple rounds, including general knowledge, concept-based questions, and rapid-fire sessions. The questions covered important environmental topics such as global warming, energy conservation, green technologies, and current environmental issues.

The competition encouraged participants to remain informed about real-world environmental challenges while promoting learning through an engaging and competitive format. It also helped students develop quick thinking, teamwork, and effective decision-making skills.

The event proved to be both educational and entertaining, making it one of the highlights of the programme. Beyond evaluating knowledge, the competition strengthened students’ critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and collaborative skills. Through active participation, students gained a broader understanding of environmental concerns and developed a greater interest in contributing towards sustainable development.
