AI-Powered Solution Expo: Demo Days for AI/I4.0 Prototypes
On 13 May 2026, the Departments of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Information Science and Engineering (ISE), Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI&ML), Data Science (DS), and Master of Computer Applications (MCA), in association with the CSI Student Chapter NHCE, successfully organised the Coding Contest – Grand Finale and Award Ceremony.
The event was designed to strengthen students’ coding skills, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and technical competency through a competitive and engaging platform. Participants included 4th and 6th semester engineering students along with 2nd semester MCA students, providing an opportunity for learners from diverse academic backgrounds to showcase their programming capabilities.
To ensure a fair and skill-based evaluation process, preliminary rounds were conducted department-wise using platforms such as CodeTantra and HackerRank. Based on their performance, the top-performing teams were shortlisted to advance to the grand finale.
The final round was held in the CSE1 Labs, where participants demonstrated strong analytical thinking, technical expertise, and coding proficiency. Students successfully tackled complex, industry-relevant programming challenges under time constraints, highlighting their ability to develop efficient and innovative solutions. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and high levels of engagement from students across all departments.
The winners were felicitated during a formal award ceremony held at the Falconry Seminar Hall. Their accomplishments reflected not only technical excellence but also dedication, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous learning.
The contest significantly enhanced students’ confidence, competitive spirit, and collaborative learning experience. It also contributed to strengthening industry-oriented coding practices and increasing technical awareness among participants. Overall, the event served as an excellent platform for innovation, skill development, and academic excellence, encouraging students to further refine their technical and problem-solving skills.
