FDP-Advancements in VLSI /Semiconductor industry and Introduction to Design for Test Methodologies

“The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, along with the R&D Division of New Horizon College of Engineering, in collaboration with IEEE CSE SBC, organized a Faculty Development Program from 17th to 22nd March 2025 at Tejas Seminar Hall. The sessions were led by Mr. Praveen Kumar Reddy K., DFT Engineer, Qualcomm India Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru, focusing on emerging trends in semiconductor and VLSI technologies. A major highlight of the program was the introduction to Design for Test (DFT) methodologies, an essential aspect of modern electronic design and manufacturing. The FDP provided valuable academic and industry perspectives through technical sessions and interactive discussions between the resource person and participants. The sessions were well appreciated for their practical relevance and technical depth. The program witnessed the active participation of 40 faculty members and students. It concluded with a vote of thanks to Mr. Praveen Kumar Reddy K. and the organizing committee for successfully conducting the six-day Faculty Development Program.”
