Panel Discussion on Ecosystem Enablers Regional/National Setup
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), NHCE, successfully organised a Panel Discussion on “Ecosystem Enablers – Regional/National Set Up” on 17th July 2026 at Tejas Seminar Hall. The event aimed to create awareness among students about the startup ecosystem, innovation support mechanisms, incubation opportunities, and entrepreneurial development.
The panel featured distinguished experts, including Mr. Vyasan V, Tech Entrepreneur, Mr. Dhanush D B, Technology Entrepreneur from Vayuvya Defence, and Dr. Sunil Hosur, Head of Vemana Business Incubation Centre. The discussion was effectively moderated by Dr. Mukul Manohar S, Professor and Associate Head – IIE.
The panellists shared their entrepreneurial journeys and highlighted the importance of innovation-driven enterprises in today’s competitive environment. They provided valuable insights into startup incubation, government initiatives, intellectual property rights, funding opportunities, and technology commercialisation. The experts also discussed strategies for building sustainable startups and achieving investment readiness.
The interactive session enabled students and aspiring entrepreneurs to engage directly with the panellists and seek guidance on entrepreneurial ventures. Participants gained a comprehensive understanding of the regional and national innovation ecosystem and the support available for startup growth. The panellists emphasised the significance of collaboration among academia, industry, investors, incubators, and government agencies in fostering innovation.
Real-world examples and practical experiences inspired participants to transform innovative ideas into impactful solutions. Overall, the session successfully promoted entrepreneurial thinking, innovation-driven learning, and awareness of the startup ecosystem while motivating students to contribute to the vision of Startup India, Atmanirbhar Bharat, and an innovation-led economy.
