Expert Lecture on VLSI Design flow using Xilinx Vivado

The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has organized an Expert lecture on “VLSI Design flow using Xilinx Vivado” for third semester on 21.12.2022 from 2pm to 4 pm. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Ganesh Rajendran, CG Corel Technologies, Bangalore. Dr. J. Joshua Daniel Raj, Senior Assistant Professor department of EEE and Dr. Prabhakaran delivered a introductory addresses to the students. The resource person in this session gave an overview of what an FPGA is, its needs for VLSI design, and contemporary FPGA families such the basic Artix-7 FPGA. High performance DSP processing is offered by the Artix -7 FPGA and has uses in wireless, computer vision, and SDR. The demonstration on how to use the Xilinx Vivado tool to accomplish the VLSI Design flow was given to the audience,
