The fundamental goal of this talk is to comprehend the students about the maintrends in electrical substation design and its significance with different types of power system protection where he had explained about the relay panel of 400 KV. In this session different type of protection like restricted earth fault protection scheme, buchholz relay protection , Anti pumping relay, Cable trough, Breaker Failure, brief single line diagram of substation and different software tools used in substation protection and control design is explained.
