CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Industrial visit - Dynalektric Equipment

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organised an industrial visit to Dynalektric Equipment, Bengaluru, on 29 November 2025 for III Year B.E. students. The visit aimed to provide hands-on exposure to electrical equipment manufacturing, panel assembly, insulation techniques, safety standards, and quality control processes.

Dynalektric Equipment specialises in manufacturing, assembling, and testing electrical panels, switchgear systems, and control panels, with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and compliance with electrical standards. The visit commenced with an introduction to the company and its product range, followed by guided tours of various operational sections.

Students toured panel assembly units where wiring and termination processes were demonstrated, insulation and safety practice areas highlighting industrial safety protocols, and testing and quality inspection units ensuring equipment reliability. Industry experts explained the functioning of contactors, relays, circuit breakers, terminal blocks, and protection devices, emphasising proper earthing, insulation coordination, and standard operating procedures followed in panel manufacturing.

Students gained practical insights into electrical wiring and panel assembly and understood the critical role of insulation and safety devices in industrial systems. The visit successfully connected theoretical concepts with real-world applications.

The students were exposed to professional work culture and career opportunities in the electrical manufacturing sector. Overall, the industrial visit effectively bridged the gap between classroom learning and industry practice, providing students with valuable hands-on experience and comprehensive industry exposure.
