My time at the Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) department of New Horizon College of Engineering (NHCE) has been transformative. The department’s focus on bridging theory and practice together, prepared me exceptionally well for the professional world. Industrial visits, and workshops provided valuable industry exposure, while the faculty’s mentorship encouraged innovation and critical thinking. I am also deeply grateful for the invaluable support of the HRD department, whose comprehensive training program equipped me with essential skills and industry insights. Their structured sessions, mock interviews, and aptitude tests sharpened my technical and soft skills, such as communication and teamwork, while helping me identify my strengths and areas for improvement. The faculty, led by an inspiring Head of the Department, were more than just teachers they were mentors who guided us academically and personally. Their encouragement to take up projects, publish papers, and participate in tech fests helped me develop a practical and innovative mindset. This guidance, combined with NHCE’s vibrant campus life and interdisciplinary approach, including coding courses, paved the way for my successful placement at Societe Generale. Choosing NHCE and the EEE department shaping me into a confident, skilled individual ready to excel in the corporate world.
