The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, in collaboration with the IEEE NHCE Student Branch, IEEE Power Electronics Society NHCE SBC, IEEE Biometrics Council, and IEEE TEC, organized an insightful expert lecture titled “Understanding Cloud Practices” on Thursday, 25th September 2025, from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM at Tejas Seminar Hall.
The session was led by Mr. Duvvuri Naga Dayakara Reddy, Solution Architect at DXC Technologies, Bengaluru. With over 20 years of experience in cloud development and solution architecture, Mr. Reddy brought a wealth of industry knowledge and practical insights to the session. The participants were introduced to key concepts in cloud computing, including cloud adoption strategies, deployment models, and real-world industry applications. Mr. Reddy shared valuable perspectives on managing enterprise cloud systems, addressing common challenges, and implementing effective solutions.
The session also featured an overview of Microsoft Azure services, best practices in cloud security, and techniques for efficient resource management. A total of 100 students and 5 faculty members actively participated in the session, which received overwhelmingly positive feedback for its relevance and depth.
